Our beach bungalow on Ko Lanta.
We moved from Phi-Phi to Ko Lanta, an island much praised to us by other travellers. They had clearly been too long in the sun. It is very beautiful, but there's not much night life. Certainly not enough for the post Phi-Phi partay animals we have become.
JB showing after effects of monkey attack.
Beach at Monkey Island. (Simians not visible, clearly lying in wait)
On Boxing Day, we went on a boat trip, snorkelling & swimming around the islands. (Well we had no turkey to curry).
First stop: Monkey Island. So named because it's inhabited solely by - that's right, monkeys! The next few minutes are a bit sketchy, but it appears that JB's very presence on the island enraged the beasts to such an extent that three of them ganged up and cornered him, giving him a serious clawing to the leg. They drew blood, so now its rabies shots ahoy for Johnny, or as he's now known, Mad Dog Bull.

Have yourself a merry little christmas......

Christmas day dawned bright & sunny. Much like every other day here. John had arranged with Santa to bring me some great prezzies, including a hat & scarf, though not stout ones like you're probably wearing. I gave him Moby Dick, but we're hoping that the ointment will clear it up soon.
